How many national champs has the Coastal division produced in 12 years?


2016 was a down year (during which SEC East also-ran UT beat Coastal champ VT, btw), but that doesn't change the fact that the SEC East has consistently been stronger than the ACC Coastal division. The Coastal has served up weak sauce champs like GT (losing to WAKE) and Duke in recent years. Richt's job will be easier in the ACC without doubt.
