But still, Clemson has a culture of giving. VT has culture of selling.


I dare say it's easier to get your fans to up their giving if they are in the habit of giving anyway.

At Tech, the culture was always selling. Give more, get better seats. Give more, get better parking. Give more, get more tickets (important back when we were always selling out). Etc. Etc. It's harder to convert that mentality to giving, for giving's sake, for the good of the program.
