Big ten is all about business... here's hint for acc network

The key for the ACC NETWORK is the content.... and that will be the responsibilities of the schools.

Each school will have to staff a basically espn HD studio like bristol in each school. They are going to be required to provide content to populate the network. This is going be staff to produce and develop content, more than a student running videos. Also, the event venues for all sports will have to be hd ready for content again. Big ten network is there with that. SEC network is constructed like network 1.0 not alot of content.....

This is great for both...for ACC an enhanced revenue stream and getting content out there. For ESPN, they get a new network, without really any staffing of additional folks (maybe some at network headquarters) but thats it, therefore low overhead and maximize profits.

If you notice since Whit got here, our video content has vastly improved from video on the web to content and multi-media on events. Expect more staffing, so they can continue with content as before AND feed the ACC network. Like all schools, they are partners with ESPN
