FWIW, I doubt our injury rate is too far above the national average


If it is at all. It's just that in basketball, injuries are far more noticeable than they are in football. I would imagine almost every program has a player or two they count on each year that gets hurt. The ones that do get lucky are often the ones who make the runs.
