One huge key here is awareness. Simple awareness of the scope of things, and what is needed. I think Hokie fans are willing to help, but they're asking, "What, if anything, is needed?"

I've learned a lot doing these types of articles, and they have put numbers on what I intuitively knew already. But my concern is that because it's not a sexy topic for a lot of fans, they won't read it, and that's too bad, because (circling around) awareness is key.
