This is a subject that is VT football related, has strong feelings on either side and is part of an event that is coming up - so it is not "behind us". Discussion is certainly warranted if desired given the context.

Me? I don't support the induction - it will be a black eye for VT nationally and I don't like us getting attention for the wrong reasons. I understand that Vick has paid his debt to society and all that - I just hope the induction goes without incident on 9/22 and that day gets in the rear view mirror as fast as possible. Between now and 9/22 look for more articles as we get closer to the date - some will condemn the induction, some will rationalize it as the right thing to do - but none of them will really be celebratory. This is just a PR root canal for VT and I'm sorry we're having to go through it.
