I believe he graduated in the spring of 1993 with an engineering degree, and maybe even a degree or minor in math. I remember visiting him in his dorm one time. He was studying, and I got the impression that's all he did, football and studying.

In the fall of 1988, before I switched majors from engineering to business (a fairly common path to a business degree 😃), I had a Materials Engineering class with a football player. I think his name was Bryant Campbell, and I think he was a defensive tackle. I don't know if he got his engineering degree or not.
