Boxing is the only sport that my Dad ever watched.

He was never interested in any other sporting event. Heck, later in life, my Mom would both listen to on the radio, and watch on TV when ever possible, Tech football. She would also watch the Redskins, but not Dad. He'd rather be out in the shop working.

However, I remember fondly those days in the 50's when Dad would get home (he'd be gone a week at the time) from his construction job, and we'd go to the store and get a carton of "pop" (soft drinks like Coke, Pepsi, etc), go home, pop some pop corn, and watch the fights.
