That's the tough part of doing the preseason poll.

I'm not really sure I could tell you how much better or worse many of these teams are compared to teams that are close to them in the rankings. They might not be in the right order, for all I know.

This was my best guess for putting them in an order before having any kind of data points to go by. Once there are actual games to base it on, you can start to get a better idea of who is better and by how much. But right now, honestly, FSU could be better than Ohio State for all I know. Just on paper, I decided to go with OSU 2 and FSU 3.

It's hard to make a strong argument for or against a certain order without any outcomes to base it on.
