Yep. As an aside, we were misinformed about the LSU situation
Some tweets and articles around July 28th led me to believe that LSU wasn't doing ANY media access AT ALL. No practice, no interviews, nothing. But that's not true, it's basically VT-level access.
From the linked article:
The school announced Friday that all preseason practices will be closed to media and public .....
Much of what the public knows about LSU leading into the Sept. 2 opener against BYU at NRG Stadium in Houston will come from [LSU head coach Ed] Orgeron. The coach will hold 10 media sessions between now and the end of camp, with the first one set for 3 p.m. Sunday.
He otherwise will meet with media on most Mondays and Saturdays during camp, with school-approved player interviews to take place on other days. Scrimmages are set for Aug. 12, 19 and 26, although Orgeron said the team will hold a situational scrimmage Aug. 5. The first practices is Monday.
Like I said, that's basically VT-level access, which is fine. On the day LSU announced it, Ross Dellenger of the Baton Rouge Advocate tweeted, "#LSU announces that it is completely closing preseason camp. No media access at all. School to provide photos and videos from practice."
That makes it sound like no interviews, no nothing, and that's just not true.
