Granted it was my fault for getting over hyped about certain players every single year. But inevitably, it would always happen. The coaches were doing their jobs by reporting guys that looked good in practice, but it didn't always translate. I'll provide an example, I thought Charley Meyer was going to break receiving records based on how much he was talked about. But he hardly played. So for me at least....no expectations means I can see for myself who is a gamer once the season starts.
