This is how I handle two


Good friend in college had one. I had met his two best friends from high school, but they did not go to VT.

I met groom and two HS friends at the hotel a few hours before wedding. Drinking time.

We left hotel to wedding with at least two cases of beer in the cans iced down in coolers..

We would be in reception, leave to parking lot, drink a beer, and return. Groom would sneak out with us.

Everyone was sitting around eating cake and mints. That was the friggin food.

We were talking and laughing, and the ones that got up from chairs joined us because we seem to be having a good time and then sit back down for a few more mints.

Bride and Groom left in their car which we had decorated. They take off, and every beer can we had drank that day including the ones at the hotel were attached.

Someone said that was a lot of cans attached.

We laughed and said thanks, it took us all afternoon to drink them.

Southern Baptist wedding.

My brother had a southern baptist wedding. There was better food at reception than the one above, but no alcohol. My dad said the family had to stay for at least 30 minutes, but he would like us to stay 60 minutes out of politeness.

Everyone was gone at 60 minutes so our Catholic Irish\German large, large family could party at Dad's to the wee hours with better food.
