Stopped in beautiful Beaufort, SC today on the way home from HHI...


...and in addition to the beautiful setting on the waterfront, we were also treated to a free concert by the United States Marine Corps Band (presumably from Parris Island). They are a very impressive bunch. About a decade ago, my brother in law graduated from Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island and I attended his graduation ceremony. It was an incredibly impressive and moving thing to witness. Today reminded me of that and it was inspiring to watch the band, knowing how much dedication they have put into not only being a member of the Corps, but also into perfecting their musical talents.

It was a great way to wind down our vacation. Oorah!
