UVA would have needed to can London MUCH earlier


Franklin's first year at Penn State was 2014, which was London's 5th year at UVA. And UVA wasn't even seriously considering canning London until after the 2014 season. UVA would have needed to be on the coaching market after the 2012 season to make a run at Franklin. And even at that point, Franklin still likely bolts UVA for Penn State.
