Doubt any leader could convince 11 presidents to add those two

First, you're going to have at least UNC and Duke against voting in those two schools. WVU because of academics, and UConn mainly because we really don't need basketball improvement and they water down the football side.

It also forces a 9-game conference schedule and the headaches that brings, which at *least* 2 more will vote against. Leadership might be able to get all schools on board for that if ND + 1 joined, but not WVU/UConn. As long as the fantasy of ND full-membership is dangling out there, I just don't see 11 schools voting to expand.
