I just called the Hokie Club. The explanation I got was that "they did not
know exactly when they would run out" and that it occurred on Thursday. It was further attributed to the seats lost during the installation of the new seating. I was instructed to call the ticket office for further information.
Maybe I'm being obtuse, but I don't see how you couldn't count how many seats you are installing? Don't you know how many $550 seats you sold?
I'm happy there's this much demand for seats, but don't understand what's going on. (I also hope the demand for seats continues when the games are being played.)
