I don't care for this line of thinking, because you can't "make sure" the
replacement is better, unless you're bringing in a Saban or Harbaugh (which isn't happening at ECU obviously).
Nothing wrong with trying to improve, within some reason. If they had been winning 10 games a year, I might agree with you - but they weren't.
