I still think Stephen King stories adapt better to television.

The Green Mile was an EXCELLENT feature-length film, but considering the other screen adaptations, I think The Stand (4-part television miniseries), The Shining (3-part television miniseries), and The Langoliers (2-part television miniseries) are the best.

Furthermore, The Shining was done both as a feature-length film and as a television miniseries, and the television version was way so much better than the film.

And if I remember correctly, didn't they do the same with Salem's Lot?
