Potheads. One's dad was the Dean of a Dept. They all smoked every single day. I was the only one who rarely smoked. I keep up w/2 of them & their careers are extremely successful. The only one I don't keep up with was the son of the Dean & I'd guess he's fine, too.
I've had people argue w/me before on this board about this opinion but I just don't know many young blacks that don't smoke weed. It seems that blacks for whatever reason prefer weed to beer. Maybe it's easier for them to get it, I don't know but that's been my experience.
I even had a friend who lived w/a cop. This cop didn't smoke but my friend would have parties and smoked regularly in front of the cop. I also know a cop who occasionally smoked & I've known Navy SEALS who smoked pot & did stronger drugs.
The war against drugs has never worked & will never work. They should legalize it all, even give it away for free in a controlled environment with education about the harmful effects. That would take the profit out of drugs. Plus, the addicts wouldn't have to steal or prostitute themselves for drug money. Which would allow them to keep some self esteem & hopefully get help to kick the habit.
