If they legalized it then most people would still get it from a store so
They could enjoy it w/their friends & at their own leisure as opposed to having to go to some official building & sit through an educational lecture & then have to do the drug in a controlled environment. Only the completely addicted losers would be doing that & hopefully they would get the help they needed. It would cut down on crime, law enforcement & incarceration expenses. Plus hopefully save lives by cutting down on overdoses & assisting people to become viable members of society. Nobody chooses to be a drug addict. Most need help.
Btw- This idea did not originate from me. I was given this idea from Dr. Mandelstam (sp?) a VT Economics Professor back in the early 80's. When it was first explained I thought it was foolish but the more I thought about it the more I thought he might be right.
