Oh I realize concerns exist with contact sports. however our country has become so soft. We removed monkey bars from play grounds so no one will get hurt. Dodge ball was banned from PE classes. I am convinced (my opinion nothing scientific) lessening the amount of contact in practice is hurting not helping the game. Changes to rules are working however if the only time you hit is during the game how can anyone participating expect to be ready .............being conditioned to hit and be hit make better players...oh I realize a fine line exist between enough and too much however little or none does these player no good come game day....... again my opinion
