Rutgers on the field wasn't worth it, but they were a cash grab for NY & NJ cable boxes, so in that regard they were worth it. BC would not be if taken now, but at the time they joined the money wasn't as large. Timing is everything.
Many wonder if the next move in realignment is to shed the dead weight and bring on better properties. I don't see it myself.
