I don't believe that for a second


I know a loss is not the end of the world, but it is a huge game for both teams.

If Clemson loses this game, they need to be perfect the rest of the year to realistically make the playoffs. And, even if they do that, there are no guarantees, OU, OSU and Bama would likely finish in front of Clemson even with a loss for each. Clemson could get in too, but there will be plenty of competition.

However, you win this game, and your chances certainly improve, plus it is a resume builder come playoff deliberation time

And, the same spoils go for VT when we win
