I personally, living Charlotte area and around a good many Clemson fans, want for Tech to beat Clemson by as many points as possible and am optimistic about the game ahead.

I also congratulate the Tigers on the National Championship last season even though it took an illegal pick play and a shank by an NC State FG kicker to win it. There was some luck involved even with a very talented Clemson team. Talented but nowhere near the 2001 University of Miami National Championship Team level. BTW the final score in that 2001 game between Tech and the U was 26 to 24 Miami with our QB throwing 4 interceptions.

That said a good many of your fans are of the belief that the SEC would never allow Clemson in the league because Alabama being the defacto king would have to step aside if Clemson became a member. This is what is posted on your Tigernet message board along with we are greatest of all time and teams should run and hide in your wake. Then there is the sparring with Paul Finebaum.

Your a very good team but you can be beat and I am expecting us to do it Saturday night. Not nervous in the slightest.
