I don't know if that is what you were getting at, but I doubt most VT fans are nervous about this game. We're the underdog at home against the defending national champions.

I think you are correct, Clemson fans probably do have different objectives from VT. We are not expected to be competing for a national title this year, so every big game is just gravy and a chance to advance the program on a national stage.
