This isn't that hard
They took the pylon logo that very few people outside of our community even could recognize, and replaced it with one very similar to the one everyone recognize. The university now has a logo that will immediately connect people who see it to the one everyone will see on ESPN tomorrow. Makes all the sense in the world. I like the pylons one, but it's all about branding these days.
