I am usually pretty negative, but after watching again...

Here are my two cents:

1. Oline for all the grief they get, they played very well last night against the best D-line in college football.
2. Minus the one blown assignment, the D settled down and played well enough for us to win.
3. I still think Cam pulled something, but like a warrior he played through and excelled considering the focus on him.
4. McClease needs to play more. He at least had wiggle. Fox might not have the most talent, but at least he is full speed ahead.
5. I thought Jackson acquitted himself quite well. He is only going to get better.

My negatives:

1. I do not think Cornelson put our players in a position to succeed. It was like watching a Loeffler game with all the screens and bubbles. We knew where the focus was (Cam), but we did not exploit it with our HB or TE.
2. Not a fan of trying a rugby punt for the first time on this stage. The ST playcalling left a lot to be desired.
3. We have to figure out a way to contain a running QB. I will give Bryant props, but after decades, Bud still has not figured it out.

But I also believe if we play Clemson again, it will be a different result.

Our offense should mature as we find people to compliment Cam, and Bud will find a way to slow down Clemson even more.

Or maybe it is just the Bloody Marys this morning :)
