I agree that no flag was the right call. But I think it had as much to do

with the fact that Cam had no real opportunity to make the catch. The ball was well over his head. Now, had the same sequence happened three more yards downfield where he may have had a chance to make the catch, it may have been a little dicier for the Clemson defender. IMO, it was close to interference... but the fact that there was no real chance to make the catch even if the defender were absent was the clincher for why interference was not called.
