At first FSU and Miami ran the football side, now FSU and Clemson run it.


They want the easiest path they can get to get to the College Football Playoff except of course for playing each other.

It's not really different than Alabama and Auburn (or whomever else is hot) in the SEC, Ohio State and Michigan in the B1G, Texas and Oklahoma in the Big 12 and USC and either Oregon or Washington (whomever is hot) in the PAC.

Just like universities listen to big donors, commissioners listen to the schools that bring in the money too.
