The schools either already had all/most of the infrastructure


in place, started working on it prior to announcement, or had the money to get the job done quickly. If it was the first, then it kinda makes the SEC schools look like geniuses for having that vision. If it was the second, then why didn't ESPN do the same thing with the ACC schools (assuming the ACC schools didn't push back). If it was the third, then the ACC only has themselves to blame.
