Can't see that as being a cost saver


Both ESPNNews and ESPN Classic seem pretty cheap to operate since both have very little "live" programming and both show lots of replays, so I can see why Disney would want to keep them.

Plus, Disney may not want to give up an ESPN "branded" channel to create an ACC (or even SEC) branded net. They may be thinking of the future when they could rebrand ESPNNews and ESPNClassic as "ESPNHS" (high school sports) or ESPNW (women's).
