noted with heavy sarcasm. Full disclosure, I am not a fan of UMCP in the very slightest, but do miss having another land grant university and charter member of the ACC. The ACC footprint also has that embarrassing gap between VA and PA. And with all the crap going on with Louisville and seeing what's happening on the in-State recruiting trail, losing UMCP is looking even worse to me.

Looking at TSL's top 15 recruiting, the Big Ten has more (5) top 15 recruits than the ACC (4) at this point. 4 of those top 5 are PSU (2) and OSU (2). VIRGINIA TECH has 2 recruits at this point and that may increase to 4.... but PSU and OSU kicked our butts when competing for the superstars. Sure, Tech may end up with 4 top 15 kids by the end of this recruiting season, but we should have close to half of these kids and UVa should have several as well.

I know Tech is having great success in North Carolina, but it's concerning that we can't secure our own.
