Thanks to a tip on this board, I started watching Banshee


Only gotten through the first season so far. I found it a lot like Sons of Anarchy in that you end up rooting for the bad guys against the badder guys and the body count is totally ridiculous. How do that many people get killed and nobody misses them?

Other things I've noticed:
They apparently film in North Carolina - it don't look anything like Pennsylvania;
The local Amish apparently don't know how to farm - whatever it is that they show them doing in the fields has nothing to do with raising crops. Like, why are they out hoeing in a hayfield?
