The high school teams I've seen are stocked with big, strong kids that run like gazelles. Soccer players from my high school era would be embarrassed to even be on the same field. My neighbor is a former professional soccer player and I thought his kid was a dominant high school soccer player. That kid was lucky to score a division III partial scholarship. There is talent out there - loads of it.
