Seriously, go and try. I live in Blacksburg and I go into my son's elementary school every now and then. The number of soccer jerseys (pro and national team jerseys, I'm not counting their rec teams) the kids wear outnumbers NFL, college, baseball, and NBA shirts combined.

Soccer will be more popular than (American) football and baseball with the current generation of kids.
