Because you referenced athletes having an advantage that

other students didn't

so if athletes at VT take some residential property management course more often than non-athletes in a "statistically significant disproportionate" way, and the NCAA says "that course is too easy," would you be ok with us getting punished?

How would you define the level of athlete enrollment that matters and the level of "too easy" for a course.

I get the anger over what UNC did. I teach. At VT. It's reprehensible that folks created those courses and allowed them to exist for so long.

But I have serious doubts that anyone really wants the NCAA to be the arbiter of "academic quality"...if you really put some thought into how that might ultimately look with respect to how they might operationalize right/wrong.
