I called it last week!! My run of doing a great job from week 6 came to an end in week 7. I went 3-3. Granted, I did a fairly good job at predicting the nature of the wins. But I swung and missed on Clemson, Louisville, and Pitt.

So here we go for Week 8....

Florida State 34 Louisville 24: Louisville gave up 45 last week.... to Boston College. Boston freakin College. Turrible. FSU is terrible on offense too right now... but at least there's talent.

Pittsburgh 24 Duke 22: Pitt's going to steal one from someone. I just feel it. It didn't happen against the Wolfies. But Pitt's defense appears to be at least somewhat better and Duke's offense is pretty much hapless.

Boston College 20 Virginia 17: Has BC found something? Not really. But UVA isn't going to claim a bowl yet. Not to mention, BC is desperate. The Eagles pull one out with a last second FG.

Miami 31 Syracuse 17: This game isn't in the Carrier Dome. That's really all you need to know.

Georgia Tech 38 Wake Forest 20: Wake will hang around for a while, but this game won't really be in doubt. This isn't Jim Caldwell's Demon Deacon squad.. but it isn't Jim Grobe's in his prime either.

And then of course......

Virginia Tech 26 North Carolina 17: This one is going to make us sweat a bit. UNC may be banged up... but they're also going to be desperate. We lack major playmakers and IMO offense will be a bit frustrating in this one. I'm also still not sold on our QB.
