Suffering from a stroke and relegated to the position of village idiot is not worth whatever they are paying him. Enjoy the grand-kids and whatever time you have left. Don't saddle your family with a name that will forever be an adjective. Your family name shouldn't become a subject of jokes. Don't get me wrong - IIRC he played at Florida State and coached at Indiana, so he knew more about football than I ever will. But Herbie props him up every week, physically and mentally, and it's almost become Weekend at Bernies - that's just not right, IMHO.
