Yes...


Fossilized teeth. The teeth are mineralized and hardened over time by the surrounding soils. Bones and other harder animal structures go through this.

So it is definitely a tooth, but has undergone some geochemical changes over time. If you compare a modern shark tooth to a fossilized tooth of similar size and species, the modern tooth will be significantly lighter as it has not absorbed any minerals over the millennia.
