Lot's of places to find them along the Chesapeake...


Also a surprising number of places that have bupcuss. Look for shells in the cliffs. Finding rocky tidal areas that have fossils in the cliffs behind it is a goldmine because the fossil material has been washed out over the tidal area and you can just find them laying in the water. Also look for Marl clay, kind grey, dull looking soil at the waters edge. Good sign of fossils.

Potomac has a LOT of teeth in it, just got to find a spot to access it if you don't have a boat.

If you want the really good stuff, Calvert Cliffs in MD is the spot. Be careful, folks die collecting there, cliffs are very unstable and will drop and bury you.
