Now that ESPN broadcasts SportsCenter from LA, I believe the LA market may influence how much coverage they give to Ball especially since his son plays for a historic franchise like the Los Angeles (don't call us Minneapolis) Lakers. If Ball had been drafted by a smaller market franchise, then I am not sure his father would be getting as much attention as he gets now.

Don't be surprised if Ball tries to arrange it so that all 3 of his sons play for the Lakers and/or maybe the Clippers. Although the Clippers are kinda an afterthought in the LA market. The other possibility is that Ball "allows" 1 of his sons to go play for Knicks (not sure if Brooklyn is a big enough market for Ball).
