Coleman Fox, super hero- the other Chuck Beck!

Finally got a break today and read all the Fox comments. The RB looks great in the times that he has played in games. That's it. I don't see any conspiracy here.

Evidence would suggest that he attends every practice and gets involved in every play offered to him in practice and I'm assuming he works his butt off in every practice as well. Given that, I'm going to believe that the coaches know best as to his running ability, especially against a rested, 1st quarter defense. If he wasn't one of the top performing RBs, he wouldn't play at all- as good as Jack Click may be, we don't see him QBing even the last 2-3 minutes of any game, even a blowout.

There may be a lot other factors to this. We have a great O-line, but if they aren't getting good enough push, and VT needs a bruiser, I think VT would normally go with a heavier back- even by 10-15 lbs. How well does Chuck Fox block? Catch? Run jet sweeps? Play into all of the other counter- type of plays organic to VT right now? He is the lightest RB, outside of McClease, who is known for his shiftiness (who avgs 9 yd/carry and has already scored 2 TDs in limited action).

Now, if he was a fumbler, or he had a big heart but just wasn't good- he still might actually play on at least a limited basis (as we have already seen that with other players). In reality, he is getting a lot of playing time already, and I would think that he also provides a break to the other backs.

So, I'm sure there are other factors that we may never know about, but I trust the coaches 100% that they know the best strategies to WIN THE GAME and will play the best players possible, without any hint of conspiracy.

GO CHUCK FOX!! BEAT DOOK!!!
