I met an ODU player's parents last night. I was disappointed to hear that

(per them) Justin Verlander hasn't donated a nickel to ODU. They said he wasn't very popular there as an alum in the baseball program.

I did just read a recent story that quotes his old coach (Giuzo) as saying "his parents are very supportive of ODU" while talking about JV. He also said that game 2 of the ALCS was the best he's ever seen him pitch.

C'mon Justin. Help them out.
