Dabo took over a team that had a Pre-Season ranking of #9

so the talent was there. He lost in the Gator Bowl when he was announced as Full Time Head Coach.
His next year, with mostly players from the previous regime, he went 9-5. He won the Music City Bowl.
His second year he went 6-6 and then lost to USF in a bowl and EVERYBODY wanted him fired.
The third year, he went 10-4 -winning the ACC, but losing in the Orange Bowl. His fourth year he won 11 games and finished 9th in the country.
Starting his fifth year, the 10 game winning seasons and more became standard. It takes awhile, even with all the money they have.
So, I agree with you and believe Fuente can do it. But it will be an uphill slog to get into that Top 10 regularly. Even then, some on this board will want him and his entire staff fired.
