How I recall it...


Yes, the situations were very different. I just didn't want to bother with two posts.

In the Blees-Fox bout, the ref did indicate that he stopped the action because of the risk of injury. It just looked to me like Blees had gained control and should have been awarded the TD2. They were on the far side of the mat from where I was sitting and Blees's back was to me, obstructing my view so I couldn't see very well just what was happening there, so I was just looking for some insight into how they came to that decision.

In the Bolen match, it just looked to me like his opponent had grabbed one of his feet and Bolen was hopping around trying to get away. Unless I'm missing something, that's far from a takedown.
