may be innocent on their part (giving them every bit of the doubt), particularly in regards to MBB. When the last total re-seating occurred, I visited Sandy Smith (VTTO), and was told that 400-seats were blocked for the HC/AthDept, and 400-seats were blocked for "contractual obligations," (all below the portals). I've related this info to my HC rep on several occasions, and got rolled eyes, and assurances that I must be mistaken. My HC rep was on distribution for Sandy Smith's answers this time, so hopefully I won't get rolled eyes again.
I bumped into another HC major donor rep last week, mentioned the numbers I had gotten this time, and opined that I must be mistaken. So, at his request, I forwarded Sandy's numbers to him. So, I am currently of the opinion that the HC reps are kept as much in the dark about blocked/set-aside seats as the rest of the donors. Next time I get a chance, I'll drop by the HC to make sure they got the info.
And, like vthokieq says, I'm sure that they still hate to see me drop by to see them.
