Recruiting goals

VT's starting 10 were ALL Top 10 in their high school weight class (not bad).

What do the coaches look for from those wrestlers ranked 10-20 that makes them worth the risk (so to speak) given so few positions/money?? Ty and Sal are recent examples. Manley and Smeltzer in this years class.
