They can sign between April 1- August 1, 2018

The 4 Virginia commits are just as talented as the out-of-state signees. It just seemed unusual that none of the in-state commits have signed. I'm almost sure that they aren't coming in as walk-ons. If so, they're good enough to receive partial scholarships at other programs. John Sung will have something like 25+ players on the roster. I doubt any of them are getting a full ride. I'd be interested to know how the 12 women's lacrosse scholarships are allotted. I'm sure that they also receive other scholarships and financial aid. In-state players require less money than out-of-state players. Some of the Maryland players can receive in-state tuition rates if they major in a program that isn't offered at Maryland-College Park. Somehow all these athletic programs work their magic to make all their players happy financially.
