I don't believe his tenure is in jeopardy, that seems like an overstatement

The first step in fixing a problem is admitting there is one and he did after the GT game. The offense can't be depended on to drive and score points on anybody. The beginning of the season was a tease because our schedule was pretty weak, minus WV. Until we religiously recruit better at OL, it won't matter how good our skill players are. They have to focus on the players closest to the ball and then branch out from there.

CJF is most definitely a good coach, and I hope he stays at VT for a long long time. He needs time, however, the OC may be out of his league. I don't know if it's because of how terrible the OL is, which very well could be the case, or what but this is the ACC not the AAC. 3rd and 1 or 4th and 2 you should be able to fall forward and have confidence you'll get what you need but VT isn't there and won't be anytime soon as far as the OL is concerned. Like a lot of the problems, it starts with recruitment and until we start winning those we shouldn't expect anything different. I'll end by saying Vt fans can at least be happy to be disappointed in a season where we can still end up with 10 wins. Better than a lot of other teams.
