for information works. It also helps I live in Blacksburg, and if they don't answer, I make an appt and ask them directly. They also know I'll do a FOIA if necessary, and if they blow me off, I'll post it, and tell everybody I know what happened. It's tough to deal with an old retired guy with nothing to do.
As far as you only being a Bronze Hokie, that shouldn't make a difference. I'm assuming by the username, that you don't live in or near Blacksburg. Being a PITA has it's advantages for getting direct answers to direct questions.
